Tanzania’s ‘battle against single use plastics’ aims to lower greenhouse emissions by 55%, saving million of tons of CO2 equivalent off its carbon footprint, saving Million Shillings by 2030.

These measures are the toughest, globally – giving rise to a high demand for a swift and efficient alternative. Some of the items banned are absolutely essential for some industries, such as paper cutlery for the catering industry of paper straws for the aseptic industry; and the switch to plastic is often seen as uncertain and somewhat of a burden.
