Global initiatives have highlighted the impact that changing from plastic straws will have for the environment, with some US states already banning them entirely. Tanzania is on-track to follow suit with leading restaurants set to introduce the ban, including KFC, Costa Coffee, Samaki Samaki and many more.

We do not import straws in bulk and repackage them claiming they are Tanzania. Our straws are made in Tanzania and the raw materials are sourced from the right suppliers with all the correct FSC certification. We believe our straws have the lowest carbon footprint!
